 CHAMPIONSHIPS

Overall gelding championship - Welsh Pony & Cob Gelding Incentive Scheme. The Champion Gelding from each section to compete for the WPCS Champion and Reserve Champion rosettes generously sponsored by The Millcroft Stud.

Lincolnshire All Welsh offer prize cards for Overall Gelding Champion and Reserve Gelding Champion.

WPCS Veteran Award - Welsh Pony & Cob Veteran Incentive Scheme. Overall Veteran Champion and Reserve, to be competed for by the highest placed veterans from classes 3,8,13 & 18 generously sponsored by The Minmon Stud

Supreme Youngstock Championship - Youngstock Champion and Reserve from each section to compete for the Supreme Lincolnshire All Welsh Champion and Reserve Champion Rosettes and Prize Card.

Supreme Championship - Champion and Reserve from each section to compete for the Supreme Lincolnshire All Welsh Champion and Reserve Champion Sash, Rosettes and Prize Card.

President’s Premium - Our president, Mr Trevor Pass has kindly donated a premium of £50 to the Supreme Champion and £30 to the Reserve Supreme Champion of the show.

RIDDEN

Supreme Championship - Champion and Reserve from the Mini Championship and Open Championship to compete for the Supreme Lincolnshire All Welsh Champion and Reserve Champion Sash and Rosettes.

Ridden Premium - £50 to the Supreme Ridden Champion and £30 to the Reserve Supreme Ridden Champion of the show.

Ridden competitors please note there will be a lunch break for the judge before commencing the ridden classes. These classes will not start before 3pm but check with the entry desk on the day for an estimated start time.

Please note that no classes or championships will be amalgamated or cancelled.

Classes will be willingly split if sufficient entries.

Rosettes will be awarded to 6th place

Ridden classes will not commence before 3.00pm.

21      Rosettes and medal for this class have been sponsored by: Miss C J Fryer

Lead Rein Pony. Welsh Section A or B not exceeding 121.9cms mare or gelding 4 years old or over. Riders must have attained their 3rd birthday but not have attained their 9th birthday before the 1st January 2019. Ponies to be shown in a snaffle bridle, lead rein attached to the noseband only.

The winner of this class will be presented with a WPCS Performance Medal.

First Ridden Pony. Welsh Section A or B not exceeding 128cms mare or gelding 4 years old or over. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January 2019. Ponies may be shown in any suitable snaffle bridle.

Mini Championship- 1st and 2nd prize winners from classes 21   and   22  to compete for the Lincolnshire All Welsh Champion and Reserve Champion rosettes

23      Rosettes and medal for this class have been sponsored by: ingleboroughequestrian.co.uk

Ridden Welsh Section A or B Stallion, Mare or Gelding 4 years old and over. Rider any age with the exception of stallions when riders must have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January 2019.

Ridden Welsh Section C Stallion, Mare or Gelding 4 years old and over. Rider any age with the exception of stallions when riders must have attained their 14th birthday before 1st January 2019.  

The winner of this class will be presented with a WPCS Performance Medal

25      Rosettes and medal for this class have been sponsored by: Mr W Roughton & Ingleborough Farms Ltd

Ridden Welsh Section D Stallion, Mare or Gelding 4 years old and over. Rider any age with the exception of stallions when riders must have attained their 14th birthday before 1st January 2019.   The winner of this class will be presented with a WPCS Performance Medal.

                               

 Open Championship -1st and 2nd prize winners from classes 23, 24 & 25  

 to compete for the Lincolnshire All Welsh Champion and Reserve

 Champion rosettes.

Supreme Championship- Champion & Reserve Champion from the Mini

Championship and Open Championship to compete for the Lincolnshire  

 All Welsh Supreme Champion & Reserve Supreme Champion rosettes, sashes and ridden premium.


Rules

1   No substitution/ nomination of entries permitted.

2   All exhibits must be registered in the Welsh Pony and Cob Society Stud Book

3   Welsh Pony and Cob rules will be adhered to.

4   The judges decision is final

5   Objections must be lodged with the secretary within 10 minutes of the class with a  

     deposit of £20 which will be returned if the objection is upheld.

6   All competitors are strongly advised to provide their own third party insurance

     cover

7   Lincolnshire All Welsh accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury

    however caused.

8   All stallions and colts 2 years old and over must be suitably bitted and led by a  

     handler that has attained their 14th birthday before January 2019.

9   Anyone riding a horse or pony must wear a hard hat to comply with British

     Standard specification BSI with safety harness correctly and securely fitted.

10 Please do not muck out horseboxes in the parking area. Use skips provided.

11 All dogs must be kept on a lead.

12 No ponies to be left unattended whilst tied to horsebox/ trailer.

13 Foals accompanying mares must be at least 3 weeks old on day of show.

14 The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry.

15 No spurs allowed in ridden classes

16 An exhibitor must not knowingly exhibit an equine which has been bred, sold,

     leased or produced by the judge or his/ her employer.

17 Ponies must be vaccinated against Equine Influenza, random checks may be made.
