Refreshments: Yes `The Sheepgate Savoy`which will be open on 18/08/12 from 2 pm and then serving full breakfasts from 7.30 am daily until dusk.
Stabling: Very limited permanent stables available. Temporary on site available at the following rates, 35 1st night, 35 2nd night, 30 3rd night, 4 nights or more 125.
(Please detail on entry form, mare, gelding or Stallion.)
State clearly arrival & departure date.

For arrivals on 18/08/12 stables will be ready from 12 noon.
Stables will be booked from 4pm until 4pm, (if you wish to retain your stable after this time please book an extra night) .

Withdrawals: Please notify sarah@sheepgate.co.uk if you need to withdraw. Please consult BD Rule Book before asking for refunds.
Electric Hook Up will be available at 50 for the duration of the show.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU STATE WHICH TEST WHEN A CHOICE IS GIVEN.
DISCO PARTY. There will be a Disco Night, free to all including riders, parents, grooms and supporters. There will also be a HOG ROAST, free to all riders, details nearer the time.
There will be evening activities once the start times are confirmed to include Zumba and Pilates, full details nearer the time.

LAURA PAYNE RIDER SPORTS THERAPY WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING THE SHOW. Please contact sarah@sheepgate.co.uk to book in.

DANIELLE OLDING AND FROM THE NECK UP PERFORMANCE COACHING WILL BE ATTENDING THE SHOW AND OFFERING HER SERVICES. Please contact sarah@sheepgate.co.uk to make enquiries.

THE SHEEPGATE TACK & TOGS TEAM COMPETITION
Entry Fee 55 per rider to cover 2 classes. Prizes and rosettes For each class and overall team and individual placings.
Each region may send a maximum of 6 teams (Preliminary, Novice, Elementary and Medium/Advanced.
Preliminary, Novice and Elementary riders should enter the appropriate team competition classes (Class 33 a, 33b, 33c and Class 39a, 39b, 33c). Riders selected for the Medium and above team should enter class 2 and 11.

The team and individual results will be calculated from all relevant team classes, with the highest 3 scores counting. Results will be calculated using points awarded for placings in each team class. In the event of an equal, the highest average score will count. Riders must be eligible to compete at their chosen level and a rider/horse pony combination may only compete on one team at one level. Teams will be selected through their region and co-ordinated by their BYRDS Representative or R.D.O. The BYRDS Rep / RDO must declare all team members at the close of entry using the designated team form and include an email contact. Please state on entry form which team you are in.

ALL RIDERS MUST STATE THEIR D.O.B. ON THEIR ENTRY FORM OR THEIR ENTRY WILL BE RETURNED. THANK YOU

ARENA WALKS WILL BE SCHEDULED, TIME PERMITTING. THERE WILL BE ARENA FREE TIME ON Sunday 18th August from 2pm until 4pm. See website for further details.
 

PRELIMINARY, NOVICE & ELEMENTARY SEMI FINAL - The top 15 combinations from each semi final will go forward to each CHAMPIONSHIP. See www.sheepgate.co.uk or 2013 BD Rule Book Page 63 & 64 for qualification criteria. Please enter the appropriate semi final classes from Preliminary to Elementary Classes 17, 18 and 24, do not pre-enter the Preliminary to Elementary finals, classes 23, 25 and 32.
MEDIUM & ADVANCED MEDIUM CHAMPIONSHIP See Rule 147, Page 63 &64 BD Rule book 2013.

All qualification sheets are to be sent to Karen Ryder at British Dressage, please do not send to Sheepgate.

Notes for the U25s YRs Championships & Sheepgate Dressage Qualifiers and Derbys.
Classes 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 & 31 are unaffiliated and are open to non BD members with unregistered horses and ponies. To be in contention for the Derby final please enter both Derby Qualifying classes.
SHEEPGATE TACK & TOGS POTENTIAL YOUNG HORSE / PONY Open to 4, 5 and 6 year old horses and ponies, rider any age.
A freestyle test, riders must show walk, trot and canter on both reins, some lengthening in trot and a free walk on a long rein. Test to last approximately 4 minutes and will be ridden in a short arena.

Pony Derby
Riders must 16 yrs and under on 31.12.13 and must never have been members of a Championship or Potential Squad. To be eligible riders must compete in Classes 26 & 29 and be riding ponies of 14.2hh (148cms) and under. Ponies must not be graded higher than Elementary level or have been downgraded. Do not pre-enter Pony Derby Final. Special test for the final will be given to successful riders in all derby finals.
Junior Derby
Riders must be 18 yrs and under on 31.12.13 and must never have been members of a Championship Squad. To be eligible riders must compete in Classes 27 & 30. Horses must not be graded higher than Elementary level or have been downgraded. Do not pre-enter Junior Derby Final
Young Rider Derby
Riders must be 25 yrs and under on 31.12.13. To be eligible riders must compete in Classes 28 & 31. Horses must not be graded higher than Medium level and must be over 14.2hh. Do not pre-enter Young Rider Derby FInal
Classes 8, 12, 17, 18 & 24, are open to horses and ponies who have qualified during the current season from 1st December. See BD Rule Book, page 63 & 64.

Classes with Pony, Junior and YR Restrictions are as follows:
Pony Riders - These sections are open to riders from the beginning of the calendar year of their 12th birthday until the end of the year of their 16th birthday. They must be riding ponies of 14.2hh (148cms) or under and 6 years and over.
Junior Riders - These sections are open to riders from the beginning of the calendar year of their 14th birthday until the end of the year of their 18th birthday. Horses and ponies must be 6 years and over.
Young Riders - These sections are open to riders from the beginning of the calendar year of their 16th birthday until the end of the year of their 25th birthday riding horses of over 14.2hh and 6 years and over.

Classes 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B, 7A, 7B : No qualification necessary but enter both sections. These classes will run under BD rules. Results will be combined from Section A and B to give the overall result and Championship winners.
