Lucy Makepeace is a qualified Equine Sports Massage Therapist, licensed Equine Animal Health Advisor (SQP) and holds extra certification in Lameness and Rehabilitation and Equine Nutrition.
Lucy is fully insured and has nearly 30 years experience working with a wide range of horses and ponies. Previous roles include Equine Education and Staff Development Officer for one of the UKs leading Equine Welfare Charities.
Her expertise covers all physiological aspects of the horse with particular interest in post injury care and rehabilitation and to improve range of movement and increase athletic potential.
Lucy has a passion in understanding how the nutritional element fits into the puzzle of how the horses diet affects muscle structure/rebuilding and function including how best to utilise nutrition in supporting performance horses to work and achieve their maximum potential whist still feeding in sympathy with their delicate digestive systems.
She constantly strives to improve her knowledge and frequently undertakes extra training including attending various conferences to ensure that she is kept up to date with the latest research. Also currently studying in depth Equine Biomechanics.
Lucy will always work in conjunction with other Equine Health Professionals such as your Vet, Farrier and Dentist to achieve the best possible solution for your horse.

Each session lasts about 60 minutes and is £40
