About Sarah Payne
A driving force behind Sheepgate Equestrian, Sarah juggles family life with running Lincolnshire’s popular competition centre near Boston. A former British pony team member, Sarah is a leading dressage rider/trainer and BHSI qualified, as well as being a List 2A British Dressage judge and Equine Body Worker. Her current studies have found Sarah completing her level 3 Pilates teacher qualification and the start of her training for the Equipilates is next on the agenda to compliment her equestrian teaching skills that find her sharing her passion for rider's positions and their effect on the horses.
Sarah has achieved many successes including novice combined training champion with Unillaes and advanced medium restricted champion with Cranswick Amadou in 1998, and the Blue Waters BD national novice open champion and Hickstead Masters League champion with Sheepgate Ushipower in 2006. Her current team of horses includes Sheepgate Ushipower and Sheepgate Bommel. Sarah juggles training, competing and teaching with her family, husband Mark and children Harry (twelve), Josh (ten) and pony-mad Lily (seven).
No two days are alike in the Payne household with Sarah dashing to do the school run before riding and teaching filling the rest of the day before Lily returns from school to ride her ponies, while the boys take to the football pitch or golf course with Dad.
Sarah’s passion for perfection is evident in everything she does, enhanced with regularly training from Emile Faurie fuelling her quest for excellence. |
